Landscape Architecture

Ekistics was retained by the Provincial Waterfront Development Corporation to prepare a master plan for the redevelopment of Halifax's mot prominent urban corridors, at the foot of George Street. Plans call for a state of the art project technology installation, in-ground LED lighting, interactive interpretive elements, and the relocation of the oldest Naval Clock in North America (which will house the projector). A new sea aquarium bridge will bring the ocean right up to waterfront visitors, and a new mixed use development will replace the existing Nova Scotia Crystal building.
