Service Overview
Sport design is a specialized branch of landscape design that focuses on strategic planning, event programming, group facilitation, schematic and finished design for outdoor sport facilities and events. Typical examples of sport facilities include golf courses, soccer fields, baseball fields, skateparks, trails, canoe courses, kite fields, tennis courts, off-road bike courses, pools, etc. Many of the sport design projects are event driven, so it is important to know the event requirements (media, staging, participants, spectators, etc.) prior to commencing the facility design. We also work with communities to determine the best legacy outcomes from sport event infrastructure. In many cases, we assist clients in regional sport facility feasibility and site assessment, including demand analysis and site evaluation.
