Project Summary:
The Halifax Regional Municipality Center for Sustainability and Youth Leadership is a facility that fosters appreciation and understanding of the natural environment and promotes youth development. The Center will be the major destination for public environmental education, ecology training and community and youth leadership programs focusing on the relationship between humans and the landscape. The Center will be the role model in HRM for the construction of ‘Green’ buildings, environmental research, green technology and education for ecologically responsible lifestyles.
