Halifax Regional Municipality commissioned Ekistics to prepare a detailedland use options study for the northwest end of the Halifax Waterfront. The study had to resolve many complex land use issues including the previous Africville settlement, future twinning of the Murray Mckay Bridge, Port Authority expansion, and the demand for more residential, industrial and commercial land.
