Commissioned by the Norris Point Waterfront Development Corporation, the plan was designed to create new commercial and tourism opportunities for Norris Point that would take advantage of its strategic location in the Gros Morne National Park. The plan identifi ed a new marina development, new waterfront ‘boatel’, retail kiosks, regional trail system, a look-off tower, a downtown streetscape enhancement, and a civic signage strategy.
