Commissioned by the Wood Islands Waterfront Development Corporation, the waterfront development was designed to create new commercial and tourism opportunities for Wood Islands while resolving some transportation planning issues around the ferry terminal. The plan also called for a nine hole par 3 golf course and a new marina development.
