The Canal Greenway Study was commissioned to determine the best possible Greenway alignment solution for Dartmouth. The greenwya plan evolved into an exciting vision for a new downtown urban park. The theme revolves around the historic Shubenacadie Canal system which was constructed in the mid 1800’s and calls for the ‘daylighting’ of a 9’ diameter culvert which runs under the property.
