| Ekistics was commissioned by the St. John’s Port Authority to prepare a waterfront tourism strategy to reconnect people back to the historic St. John’s urban waterfront. The goal of the strategy was to maintain the working waterfront character while providing new opportunities for safe public access and to identify potential new uses for underused SJPA parcels. The study identifi ed a wide range of tourism and community use opportunities around the harbour.
